The instructions for esl.wavehare.cloud on the Web side are detailed below. If you have purchased the product package (including ESL-Gateway-AP and at least one ESL-epaper), you can send an email to [email protected] with the source of the order to apply for an account, or ask the Waveshare team for help.

Device Management
- ESL Management
ESL is the electronic shelf label using e-Paper. This interface allows you to see the binding relationships between the store's existing shelf labels and products. Unbound shelf labels will not be displayed. Scan the code through the mobile app to bind the product, or directly click on Bind on the current interface. Add the corresponding shelf label barcode and product barcode information to the menu to complete the binding. Click View in the box 7 to preview the display content of the shelf label. If the shelf label content has not changed, you can click to Force to Refresh to re-issue the binding task when online. - AP Management
The AP Management shows the offline status of the base station added to the current store, as well as the parameter information of the base station. First of all, it is necessary to ensure that the base station is normally online, and the ESL can be brushed normally to change the price. If the base station is not online, the on-site network can be checked, and the network cable can be re-plugged and unplugged for testing.- 【Add】The menu can add the MAC information from the base station's bottom label to the platform, or add through the APP program: General Related - Add Device
- 【Edit】The menu allows for modification of device names
- 【Setting】The menu is to enable the WiFi function of the base station, and the account password is configured by default: ESL-Gateway-AP/12345678
Item Management
There are two levels of item management:
(1) Merchant Product
If the store synchronization function is enabled when creating a store, the store can be bound to merchant products through both the e-Paper screen and LCD. Otherwise, they can only be bound to store products
(2) Store Product
If the store synchronization function is not enabled when creating a store, all stores can independently maintain their own store products
- Merchant Product Material
This function is used to manage images and videos of merchant products.- 【Match Material】You need to upload relevant images and videos by yourself.
- 【Binding Status】You can search for corresponding products based on whether the product is bound to the shelf label or the barcode of the product.
- 【Image & Video】Images are matched by name. If they are not accurate, you can click the + sign to enter the modification page and search for system materials or upload them separately. The LCD template defaults to the image or video with the number 1
- Store Product Material
Store product materials means images and videos that are used to maintain store level products. The operation method is the same as above - Merchant Product
It is used to manage basic information of merchant products.- 【General List】Uses a variety of fields to display product information by category

- 【Batch Import】Download the Excel template, fill in the data that needs to be imported into the ESL system according to the requirements, and then upload to achieve the function of batch importing products

- 【Add】Adds a single product to the system
- 【Export】Exports all product information in Excel format
- 【Data Cleaning】Items not used within a year can be deleted using this function

- Store Merchandise
View the final information of products under the selected store
When the product synchronization function is enabled, the displayed information is the combination of merchant products and store products, with store products having higher priority. If there is no specific information in the store, the information of merchant products will be taken

Log Center
- Price Tag Log
Price tag log records the barcode price tags' image log within 7 days, click on the affiliated store to view the update log of all price tags under that store within 7 days - Login Log
The login log is the login information record of the price tag system account, and you can see the login information of employees within 7 days - Template Log
The template log is the record of the template change information of the price tag system. Click on the corresponding merchant log or store log to see the record of the change information of the price tag system template within 7 days
Store Management
Log in to the ESL system on the web side, and click Store Management on the left side status bar to enter the Store Management interface. This function is mainly for managing stores. If you want to add a new store, you can click the blue button below to fill in the corresponding information, and a new store will be created. In addition, you can manage the created stores, such as disabling, deleting and modifying the information
Staff Management
Staff Management is used to manage the employee accounts under the merchant accounts of the ESL system. You can create or disable accounts and grant store privileges to them.
Data Statistics
Used to collect status and other information of various devices

System Settings
The functions in the system settings are applied to the entire merchant level
- Role Setting
You can reassign permissions to the default roles under the current merchant account, or add new permission roles - Authorization Information
If the current merchant's authorization period is about to expire or if there is a need to expand related functions, please provide the Server feature code and Merchant ID to the staff for renewal or expansion operations - Basic Information
You can modify the time zone or merchant name of the current merchant account, and you can also view the corresponding agent ID and name - Configuration Information
- 【Price Tag Reminder Configuration】Set the low battery or offline reminder method and cycle for ordinary price tags, as well as the range and reporting cycle for abnormal battery and temperature/humidity of temperature/humidity price tags (the alarm reminder for temperature/humidity price tags needs to be combined with the email function of the alarm center)
- 【Extended Field Configuration】Set the field name of the extended field
- 【Custom Logo】The logo of the price tag system or app can be customized and replaced
- 【LCD Carousel Settings】You can set the carousel period of images or videos in the LCD. If the period is set synchronously in the release task, the cycle time of the release task shall prevail

You can perform add, delete, and modify operations on product labels - Merchant Account
You can view the corporate information of the current merchant. Set the validity period of the password, expiration reminder time. If the password is changed during this period, the validity period will be reset. If the password is not changed after expiration, the account will be locked (a higher permission account is required to reset the password after locking)

- Merchant Template & Store Template
The Template Management module is divided into five parts: Merchant Template, Store Template, Business Icon, Store Icon, and Template Properties.
Merchant Template: The template library for merchants, where users can add templates or modify, copy, or delete existing templates on this page.
New Merchant Template: Users can add a new template.
Import Template File: Users can choose a template file to import into the merchant template.
Export Template File: Users can select an existing template and click "Export Template File" to export the template in compressed package format.
Merchant templates and store templates are both used to manage smart price tags. The templates inside the Merchant Template can be used by all stores. Stores prioritize the use of templates in Store Template. Here, users can design the templates they want to use or modify existing ones - Business Icon & Store Icon

Once an image is uploaded to the business icon and saved, it can be applied to the static image component of the merchant template

Template categories and template properties are identifier fields for matching products with templates. When creating a product or template, you need to set the template categories and template properties in advance. The maintenance interface for template categories and properties is as follows:
1. Click on the Template Properties in the Template Management to enter the Template Property management page.
2. Click on Add New Template Category to customize the template category

Used to create event and flashing strategies for price tags, which can change the template, promotion price, and flashing status of the price tag at selected times and conditions. - Flash Strategy
Add a new strategy under the currently selected store, set the Start and Expiry Dates of the promotion strategy within the validity period (the expiry date cannot be earlier than the start date, and the validity period does not refer to the time when the strategy is triggered), set the duration of the light when the strategy is triggered in the liaghting duration, set the flashing frequency and color, select a single, multiple, or all execution objects, set multiple triggering conditions related to changes in product information, and finally click Confirm to save and publish.

First of all, you have to buy our product, please note that the ESL price tag needs to be used with ESL-Gateway-AP, otherwise it will not work.
