Overview

Introduction

This product is Compute Module 4S for Raspberry Pi with powerful, high-speed eMMC flash memory. Supports connection to CM3 peripheral expansion boards. Compute Module 4S is based on the Raspberry Pi 4B architecture, making it easy for users to transfer or upgrade from Compute Module 3/3+.

Programming Imager

1: Connect the CM4S to the carrier board.

2: Connect the SLAVE port to the PC through a USB cable, and then power on it.

3: Open the software rpiboot.exe with administrator privileges, the PC will automatically recognize the eMMC inside the computing module as a USB flash drive

4: Open Raspberry Pi Imager.

1): Select the hardware to be burned (downloaded in step 1), CM4 choose PI4.
2): Select the imager from multiple versions to choose the one that suits you (the following can also choose to format or choose their own backup of the system).
3): Select the disk drive to be burned, only support for mobile disk drive (USB extended disk drive).
4): After selection, you can click NEXT, if the choice is the Raspberry Pi OS, then it will appear, if you do not need to point "no", if the previous configuration can be saved directly point "yes", the first time you need to use the settings point "Edit Settings".

5): The use of the new system does not configure the default user name and password, the user can be configured directly in the configuration interface if they need to configure the user name and password, if you do not configure it on this interface, you can connect the keyboard and mouse to configure the user name and password after boot up.
