OAK is an embedded, high-performance, 3D AI+CV platform consisting of an open-source hardware, firmware, software ecosystem that provides complete and ready-to-use embedded 3D AI + hardware-accelerated computer vision.
The OAK-D-Pro is an upgraded version of the OAK-D with structured light ranging, featuring an IR laser dot projector (active depth vision) and IR illumination LED (for "night vision"). It's also smaller, lighter and more accurate than the OAK-D.
Embedded with the high-performance Myriad X VPU, It adopts active binocular vision technology and structured light, which improves the positioning accuracy to the sub-millimeter level and meets the needs of close-range high-precision positioning and identification, such as Automatic Welding Robots, positioning, identification and calibration of surface defects of parts, etc., which can enhance the perception of the robot .
