Question: I was curious as the the thread size (M2.5, M3, etc.) of the threaded holes that allow the aluminum bracket of the pi-fan-3007 to be mounted on the Raspberry Pi. The attached image has the locations in question pointed out.

 Answer:

The upper side mounting screw size is M1.5 as shown in your picture and the downside of the plate its M2.5 for securing raspberry pi board.
The bottom side is M2.5!
